According to the latest official data of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, the list of countries, whose citizens and individuals, with a residence permit or other document confirming the right of permanent residence in these countries, may enter the Russian Federation, includes:
- United Kingdom
- Tanzania
- Turkey
- Switzerland
- Egypt
- Maldives
- United Arab Emirates
- South Korea (since September 27)
- Belarus (since September 26)
- Kazakhstan (since September 27)
- Kyrgyzstan (since September 23)
Citizens of these countries arriving in Russia must provide the negative test results for COVID-19 at the Russian border or pass such a test in Russia three days after arrival, as claimed in the decree of the head of Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Well-Being of the Russian Federation, the chief state doctor of the Russian Federation Anna Popova.
Internationals must present a certificate of passing the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test, carried out no earlier than three days before arriving in Russia, and documents on the presence of immunoglobulin G antibodies, if available. A medical certificate of the absence of coronavirus can be provided either in Russian or in English.
If there are no such test results, a citizen of these countries must take a paid PCR test in Russia within three days after arrival. It should be taken into account that the Airline has the right not to allow passengers to enter the airplane without a medical document confirming a negative PCR test result for COVID-19. It is necessary to check with the airline you choose whether it is possible to enter the airplane without a certificate of the COVID-19 test or not.
All internationals fill out a special form in English or Russian in the airplane.
